Nationwide Gravesite Locator The Nationwide Gravesite Locator includes burial records from many sources. These sources provide varied data; some searches may contain less information than others. Information on veterans buried in private cemeteries was collected for the purpose of furnishing government grave markers, and we do not have information available for burials prior to 1997.

Bureau of Land Management General Land Office Records The General Land Office Automated Records Project is responsible for making these important documents available on the Internet. The initial phase of this project is complete, with two million eastern records issued between 1820 and 1908 now available on this website. The GLO is currently adding eastern and western patents issued after June 30, 1908.

Illinois Statewide Vital Records Databases Search for Illinois statewide marriages from 1763 to 1900, deaths before 1916 and deaths from 1916 to 1950. Plus veterans' records from 1812 to the 1929.

Maine State Archives Search online index for marriages from 1892 to 1967 and 1976 to 1996, and deaths from 1960 to 1996. There is a charge to receive copies of documents.

Massachusetts Archives The Massachusetts Archives holds Massachusetts vital records covering the years 1841-1915. The vital records cover births, marriages, and deaths that occurred in Massachusetts. Also a database index of more than one million immigrants through the port of Boston from January of 1848 to July of 1891.

Minnesota Historical Society Contains indexes for Minnesota birth records from 1900-1934, and selected records from pre-1900. Also contains indexes for Minnesota death records from death cards from 1904 to 1907 and death certificates from 1908 to 2001.

Missouri Digital Heritage Initiative The Missouri State Archives is the repository for state records of historical value. Highlights among manuscripts and original documents in the Archives include French & Spanish land grants, testimony concerning the New Madrid earthquake of 1811-1812, documents concerning Frank and Jesse James, maps of Missouri's first surveyed roads, and material pertaining to Harry S. Truman.
